

Casa Iuorio’s artichokes in evo oil (the so-called “I piccoli”) are tiny and delicious. They are collected by hand in the Palomonte fields next to the farm, where they grow in the open and without chemical agents and are brought fresh to the laboratory, located right next to the fields. 100% taste and nature, 0 preservatives, dyes and chemical additives, for a product of the highest quality.
The processing is entirely manual: after removing the stems and outer leaves we proceed to the finishing touches with a knife. This way you only get the tender heart of the artichoke, which is immersed in water and lemon so it doesn’t darken. After that, it’s time to put them in the jar: the artichokes are carefully and accurately placed, seasoned with salt, garlic, bay leaf and oregano and then covered with olive oil. Exceptional by themselves, to try on a platter for an appetizer or in a tasty sandwich.
