The Cascina Pizzavacca farm makes pickled vegetables, following local tradition from the southern Piacenza province. Vegetables are lovingly cultivated, harvested and quickly processed on the field, in order to preserve their flavour, scents and texture. The farmstead is located in Soarza, where the Pisaroni family has been cultivating native fruits and vegetables for generations.

The Cascina Pizzavacca farm knows that ingredients are paramount to obtain prime-quality products, while respecting the environment and nature’s pace.

Cascina Pizzavacca’s products do not contain preservatives or colouring agents, but only genuine ingredients. These sweet and sour vegetables packed in oil are as good as freshly-picked ones. They pair very well with cheeses, cold cuts, meat and fish or can be used to spice up a salad.
