

La Castagna Leopoldina is well aware of how delicious its chestnuts from Florence are. These chestnuts are lovingly cultivated on the slopes of the Mount Amiata in the family’s century-old chestnut orchard.
But we all know that chestnuts are a seasonal produce. Chestnuts packed in syrup are the ideal solution for those people that love the chestnut flavour, but are not into the traditional candied coating of marron glace.
As a matter of fact, to make this product, chestnuts are selected by hand and are then shelled and plunged in a delicious and well-balanced syrup flavoured with Madagascar vanilla.
