Shelled PDO Bronte Pistachios - 250g

Pistachios from Bronte are the most delicious pistachios in the world. Their bright green colour is their signature feature. The Don Tanu company cultivates them on the western slope of the Etna. That’s because pistachios are one of the most famous Sicilian specialty and are registered as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product.

The whole PDO Bronte pistachios by Don Tanu naturally dry under the hot Sicilian sun; the most recently harvested pistachios are then shelled. They are left in their natural state, unsalted and unroasted.

Because they are au naturel with such a pure flavour, these Sicilian pistachios can be used to jazz up any recipe: in fresh pasta, in fish dishes (how delicious would they be in a breading coating a fresh tuna fillet?), in ice creams and in pastries, of course. 

Once you start eating them, it’s very hard to stop; they are so tempting with their beautiful colours and their purple veins standing out on the hypnotic green.

They are kept under vacuum to maintain their freshness and are packed in a special box which makes for an original and tasteful gift.
