Linden honey has a unique flavour that is especially penetrating and fresh, almost minty. It is ideal to sweeten herbal teas and fruit infusions, but it also pairs very well with alpine cheeses, such as Castelmagno and Fontina cheeses.
This honey is made from the very scented linden flowers. Beehives are moved at bloom time, in order to make a monofloral honey i.e., from one plant species, resulting in a product with specific and immediately recognisable taste characteristics.
Apicoltura Cazzola beekeeping only makes whole virgin raw honey that does not undergo any thermal treatment and keeps all natural properties and benefits unaltered. It is extracted by centrifugal force and then left to decant in honey ripeners and poured in jars. Nature at its most pristine.
