The beans of the Verdolino variety have a delicate and unmistakably sweet flavour which is ideal for all recipes. Apart from the taste, two other features distinguish them from other beans: their skin is particularly tender and they have a high protein content. They are cultivated in an area with a great diurnal temperature variation in the summer time, which makes them a truly unique food.
Verdolino beans are a dwarf bean variety with an unmistakable light green colour. They are ideal with pasta or rice, as the main ingredient in winter soups or by themselves with a thread of truffle olive oil on top.
We love them with:
• Sausages
• White truffle oil
