If you are looking to buy a Tuscan oil online, it is important to be aware both of its sensory properties and its characteristics of production. The first time we tried the olive oil by the Frantoio Franci oil mill, we immediately fell in love with it. It is an olive oil from Tuscany with a fresh and clean flavour. at first, it tastes sweet and then you perceive a hint of spiciness which goes perfectly with vegetables, soups and legumes. It is also excellent for cooking, frying and making delicious vinaigrette.
Frantoio Franci extra virgin olive oil is organic and is obtained by pressing olives that are hand-picked in the mill’s tree groves, in the idyllic setting of the Val d’Orcia and the Tuscan Maremma hills.
Since the 50s the Frantoio Franci oil mill has been tackling the challenge of seasonal variations and has always managed to get the best quality out of the harvest: a perfect Tuscan oil with a green colour and golden nuances, a fruity scent and herbal notes of artichoke and ripe fruit. It is the end result of a skilful and dedicated work to understand the terroir.

100% extra virgin olive oil from Tuscan olives - HEALTH CLAIM - Olive oil polyphenols help protecting blood lipids from oxidative stress. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20g of olive oil, containing at least 5mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives. THIS OIL FULFILS THE REQUIREMENT. Polyphenols such as hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein and tyrosol are responsible for the bitter and spicy taste of oil.
