The 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano by Gennari cheese manufacturer has reached the perfect maturation point. While it ages for three years, this parmesan cheese develops an excellent texture which is ideal to fully appreciate the scents and flavour of this cheese. This parmesan cheese is sapid, but also sweet at the same time.
Obviously, it is an excellent grating cheese, but it can also be served on a cheese tasting platter, perhaps served with a swirl of chestnut honey.
This parmesan cheese is manufactured following the same principles of the Gennari cheese production: Italian milk from the company cattle, low salt and rennet content and a long aging period.
According to PDO provisions, cheese portioning takes place within the Gennari manufacture. Cheese wheels are cut, vacuum-sealed and packaged within a short period of time, to prevent the loss of sensory properties.
