Taggiasca olive is the most refined Italian olive cultivar. Olives ripe in the olive tree groves under the Liguria sun and are ideal as table olive, for olive oil production and to make pâté. In this pâté you can not only taste the exceptional signature flavour of Taggiasca olives, but you can also easily spread it on a slice of bread.
You can savour this pâté in endless ways; as an appetizer on bruschetta or canapés or in a pasta dish together with fresh tomato sauce, tuna or zucchini. It is also ideal to make quiches, pies or timbales and it can be used as a sauce for chicken or fish, too.
Guido Novaro is the descendant of a family of olive oil refiners and aficionados. Since 1860, when his great-great-grandfather Agostino founded the company, the Novaro family has been raising awareness about olive oil. Every processing step is characterised by the highest quality – from the selection of cultivars, through extraction and bottling, to packaging. The best tradition from the olive tree groves in Lucinasco to a bottle.
