

We fell in love with this PDO pesto pistachio! Sometimes pesto does not necessarily contain only wholesome ingredients. But this pesto by Don Tanu is produced in such a way as to enhance its great main ingredient: as a matter of fact, it is made with 60% of green Bronte pistachios, extra virgin olive oil and salt. That’s it!
It is ideal to dress pasta dishes or to spread on roasted bread slices, perhaps with a voluptuous mortadella slice on top. It can also be used to create delicious sauces for meat or fish dishes.
How to use it: Sauté a finely chopped onion (optional) and let two or three teaspoons of pesto melt, adding one ladleful of pasta cooking water to make a creamier sauce.
The pistachios used by the company Don Tanu are shelled and left in their natural state.
