PDO Buffalo mozzarella balls from Campania are bite-sized. They have an enveloping and delicate taste, as well as an incredible freshness. They are torn by hand one by one, as tradition dictates. To make this delicacy, the Azienda agricola Tempio farm only uses milk produced by their own buffaloes that are reared in big, modern and comfortable facilities.
And when buffaloes are happy, their milk also tastes better. That’s why these Mozzarella cheese balls are one of a kind. You can taste the unique flavour of milk and perceive how genuine these handmade products truly are. Only prime-quality milk is used, with the addition of salt and rennet and, of course, the skilled hands of cheesemakers from Campania, who are actual artists of the pasta filata (stretched curd) technique.
The Azienda agricola Tempio farm is located in the Paestum plain, next to the Greek temples. History and innovation meet here: traditional buffalo farming is combined with modern milking and quality control technologies. Furthermore, the company is committed to environmental sustainability and generates green electricity, by using biomass.
* This fresh product is produced each week. Shipping to Italy takes place on Monday (for orders placed by 12 pm on Saturday) and on Thursday (for orders placed by 12 pm on Wednesday). Shipping to EU countries takes place only on Monday for all orders placed by 12 pm on Saturday.
