This truffle pâté is made with carefully selected summer truffles and it’s hand-packed in glass jars. These truffles are also called “Scorzone”: it is a less prized truffle variety, but nonetheless tasty and aromatic. The Alfonso Fortunati Truffles company guarantees a thorough selection as well as very high quality, and what’s more, all their products are still handmade.
Summer truffles are harvested in spring and summer, from the end of May until the beginning of September. This flavourful truffle pâté can be used to refine many different dishes. Black truffles, as a matter of fact, tolerate the heat and don’t lose their aroma with cooking. Add them to your roast or to a stuffing for some extra flavour.
