Torta Pistocchi pure chocolate cake with Sour Cherries - 250g

It’s true, you either love or hate sour cherries, there is no in between. We adore them and this Torta Pistocchi cake with chocolate and sour cherries cannot get any more delicious. Maybe it’s because it contains 30% of whole candied sour cherries? Or maybe it’s the selection of only the best chocolate by Torta Pistocchi? This cake is an explosion of freshness, it is soft and melts in the mouth and has a delicate balance between sweet, bitter and sour flavours.

The chocolate and sour cherry cake was created as a limited edition in the autumn 2004, but it was love at first bite and the Pistocchi lab in Florence decided to make it into a regular cake.

Siblings Claudio and Claudia Pistocchi make artisan, prime-quality products without using eggs, butter, flour, added sugar, preservatives and additives. That’s why the cakes are vacuum-packed in the lab and must be kept at refrigerated temperatures to keep their fragrance and deliciousness intact for a long time. Do not forget to take them out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature - the ideal serving temperature - before serving them.
