The “Villa Magra” Frantoio Franci oil is the core product of this oil mill. The first bottle of this oil was produced and marketed back in 1996 and since then “Villa Magra” olive oil has always been a safe bet. Perhaps it’s because the company Frantoio Franci never focused on producing high quantities but rather targeted a high-quality end product. Thanks to this vision seasonal variations never really influence results. “Villa Magra” oil has a balanced taste and an intense herbal note which makes it perfect as a raw condiment for vegetables, legumes and cheese.
This oil is the fruit of love and attention towards the terroir of the Val d’Orcia and Tuscan Maremma hills. Olives have only been hand-picked for more than half a century and they are exclusively cold pressed: a devoted work involving understanding, respect and love for nature’s fruits.
The “Villa Magra” Frantoio Franci oil, green and golden in colour, has an intense fruity aroma that can be described as grassy, fresh and pungent with hints of artichoke and cardoon and predominant notes of roasted coffee.
Like all Tuscan people, we like to eat it raw on:
