Known for its creaminess and enveloping taste, walnut sauce is a cornerstone of Ligurian tradition. In the recipe by Rossi 1947 you'll find all the classic ingredients, carefully chosen for the best quality: among them there's PDO Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and the iconic Vessalico garlic.
It is a full-bodied and rich sauce, perfect for fresh and filled pasta. It can also be combined with fine meats or become the perfect base for canapés and sandwiches! An important note: this sauce should NOT be heated in a pan, but it should be used straight from the jar. If need be, it can be slightly diluted in a bowl with one or two spoons of pasta cooking water.
